Developer Message from Ciao A.

Hello, Directors! I’m Developer Xiao A.

It’s been over two months since the launch of the project, and we’ve encountered various issues along the way. As a planner, I’ve been busy fixing bugs and adding new game content. With the 1.2 version about to go live, I’d like to take this opportunity to share some of the recent optimizations and adjustments made for GLC and provide an outline of future version plans.

Optimization and Adjustment Plans

- Additional Gameplay Content

Addressing the feedback about the “downtime” issue has been one of the team’s key focuses for improvement. In Version 1.2, we’ve revamped the “Dark Tide Conquest” activity and adjusted it into a weekly permanent gameplay mode, complete with a new development system. Additionally, we’ve added the daily “Dust Calamity Mirage” gameplay.

In the latter half of 1.2, the “Sun & Moon” activity will also be iterated, bringing richer gameplay and increased rewards. (Minor spoiler: The card game content you’ve been waiting for will also launch in Version 1.2!)

- New Storylines

For the story, Version 1.2 will feature brand-new plots: “Crossing the Forgotten River” and “The Fox’s Joyful Cry.” Directors will meet two new dragon descendants, Wuchang and Zhusha. What unprecedented stories await you?

- Reduced Development Burden

We’ve heard your feedback regarding the shortage of Coins. After team discussions, we’ve decided to increase in-game ways to acquire Coins starting from Version 1.2, as well as raise the coin output in various activities. We’ll continue monitoring the gaps in your development process and will periodically provide additional resources through events or benefits to ease the pressure.

Future Version Plans

Looking ahead, Version 1.3 will bring the Lunar New Year event version. The upcoming Nine Dragon New Year Street District will be the largest event content update to date, accompanied by a brand-new main storyline: “The Twin Inferno.”

As the main story progresses, directors will delve deeper into the Nine Dragon District, engaging with characters like Qin Chuan, Jiang Li, Lady Shen, and Jin. You may even uncover surprising new developments and unexpected revelations.

Finally, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the directors for your continued support of Return of the Dragon Tide. We’ve carefully received every suggestion you’ve made. Like you, we love GLC and aim to bring even more fun, engaging stories from the Nine Dragon District and unique dragon descendants to all of you.

To thank you for your support, we plan to distribute a Permanent Dragon Descendant Selection Pack and 2 million Jiu Fang Coins via in-game mail on the launch day of Version 1.2 (December 6, 2024).

Eligibility: All directors who achieve the title of “Assistant I” before 08:59 on January 17, 2025, can claim the reward from their mailbox.
