Version 1.2 Update and Maintenance Notice

Notes from Alkane: *忘川 wangchuan - one of the many significant river from Chinese mytho underworld. Literal translation: the river of to forget.
New Quest - Classic · Wedding from a Fox howl
Door sign that appeared out of nowhere, a strange wedding host inside a ghostly mansion, what secret may they hold?
Availability: Permanent after the version update.
Eligible conditions: Longchao Pavillion location is unlocked and reach director reputation level "trumpcard 4".
New Dragon Domain - "Ginkgo and Old Mansion"
A hollowed out mansion that's long been abandoned, only a gingko tree left standing beautifully
Unlocking conditions: Unlock the Classic Quest “Crossing Wangchuan - Old Mansion and Cat".
New Dragon Domain - "A Trapped Wedding"
A dragon city maze covered in untamed vines, doesn’t matter if you’re the to be wedded or the guest, don’t think of escaping.
Unlocking conditions: Unlock the Classic Quest “Wedding from a Fox howl- A New Year and those imprisoned".
New Limited Characters (Dragon Descendents)
S Tier Character - Wuchang
Role - DPS;
Element - Water;
Speciality - Anti-Air, Water Element Damage.
Wuchang is a psychopomp with special ability, just the the lore, after Wuchang use elemental skill, she’ll enter a Yin Realm state, in the field created by the state she can fly freely and not take damage. In this condition Wuchang’s normal attack and element skill attack will be enchated, when her said attack hit enemy she also hit them with Soul Lose which will accumulate her Soul Yearn meter, which could be use and consumed to deal bigger water damage.
S Tier Character - Zhu Sha
Role - Support ;
Element - Yin;
Speciality - Normal Attack Buffer, Of-field dps.
As a Fox Demon from the Wu Li District, Zhu Sha is not great with socialising with others. In combat she won’t reveal her true self easily. Instead she’ll summon Festive Caiju* and Xiuqiu* to help her fight. After Zhu Sha use her elemental skill, she'll create 5 Festive Caiju, continuously dealing yin element damage tot he enemy. Her elemental skill will also create a Xiuqiu, which will link to our on field character, boosting their atk based on Zhu Sha atk, after using her ult Xiuqiu will increase the team crit damage and heal the selected character.
Notes from Alkane: *彩鞠 caiju - literal translation colourful ball, it’s a very beautiful medium size ball with thread wrapped around it and intricate design from xinjiang culture.

*绣球xiuqiu - fabric ribbon wrap in a way to resemble flower, think of it as the chinsese versiok of wedding bouquet, funfact hydrangea in chinese is call 绣球花 xiuqiuhua(hua mean flower btw).
Gameplay and QOL changes
New System - Ascention and refinement
After the version 1.2 update, triple(max) refined Amber rank dragon curse could be further refine to Gold rank，and the base stats would increase dramatically. Gold rank dragon curse could refine up to 30 times, each refine would increase the base stats, consume The Seed of Essence* of the corresponding element for refinement.
Notes from Alkane: *new item, but it's basically the as the one you use for weapon refinement for the purple and amber rank but yk, this is one is for the gold rank.
Colour pallette and Dye Plan
Outfit Due - new dye function. Using the cooler colour pallette will allow you to unlocked a dye not own by you. Consume 2 dye bottle allow you to due once. Cooler colour pallette include more rare and beautiful colour！
When the plan for the dye is confimed，button at the bottom right could be used to save the current plan. Update to 3 plan could be saved, switching between plans will not cost dye bottles.

New gamemode - Dark Tide Crusade
Although the last expedition you assisted Zhen Long Si* in was successful, the enemies in the Dragon City(domain) have been more and more active recently, so Zhen Long Si has issued you a new commission...
The main interface has added a new gamemode entrance for [Dark Tide Crusade]. In this gamemode, the director can launch expedition challenges against three different BOSS every week and participate in the expedition ranking. Detailed rules can be viewed in the corresponding gamemode after the update.
Eligible conditions: Complete the Main Story Quest "Ready Player One" and reach director reputation level "Top Stream 2”.

Daily Challenge - Dust Illusion Realm(tower/abyss)

Card Game - Duo di zhu - "Fight the landlord"
Lion District「Flower Market Square」has added a new duo di zhu gamemode; the rule is the same as traditional duo di zhu. Every player will be given 17 cards and each taking turn to fight the landlord, 2 players will act as the peasants to defeat the 1 player acting as the landlord. When a player emptied all their card, the camp they belong to win.
Eligible conditions: Unlock after unlocking Lion District- White Lion street location.
Daily Advancement - * - Dark Tide Crusade
After the version update,Dark Tide Crusade will be a new challenge target, along with Mirage Treasure House(domain)", Arcade", and Sudden Mirage Dream(tower/pvp) will form the four small stages of Daily Advancement. After participating in the Dark Tide Crusade gamemode and reaching enough times, you can obtain the Seed of Essence of random element!

Notes from Alkane: In case you can't tell I took creative liberty for 2 reason really, Lion District is based on the canton region and most horror movie from there are comedy at the same time too( Zhu Sha is not from Lion District, don't overthink it); translating it word to word won't be a issue but when something is culture heavy it’ll be have to make it understable in this case I'll choose to localised
A fleeting mirage(abyss buff): Dream of Long Night Drifting
Effect: When character are in mid air，increase element skill damage by 12% for every 0.5 second ，up to the maximum of 60%，buff is cancelled when the character land.
Period : 2024/12/02 04:00 ~ 2024/12/23 03:59.
A fleeting mirage: Dream of Stepping Alone
Effect: When the character normal attack hit, increase the character normal attack damage by 2 %, uo to the maximum of 60 %, last for 8 seconds each buff duration is counted.
Period : 2024/12/23 04:00 ~ 2025/1/13 03:59.
Mirage: Dangerous Floor
Mirage will be spilt into two cycle;the level will corresponde to "A fleeting mirage· Dream of Long Night Drifting" and "A fleeting mirage· Dream of Stepping Alone" respectively.
First Cycle: 2024/12/02 04:00 ~ 2024/12/23 03:59.
Second Cycle : 2024/12/23 04:00 ~ 2025/01/13 03:59.
Optimization
Gamemode - *short day dream*
Reward calculation change to everyday but the amount of dust yoy could earn every week remain the same.After update, the system will hand out the reward everyday according to the director ranking, beside that, if the director didn't claim the reward in time it'll be hand out via in-game mail.
- Optimized Changmingsuo and Yaoyao damage in "tit for tat pvp";
- Optimized Changmingsuo idle animation;
- Clear as much floors as possible mode:
- Removed the purchased limit for Seed of Special Light(the red thing for weapon refinement);
- Optimized some of the text and wording in "mirage";
- removed bond level needed for character costume dye.
Additional Changes:
- Otimized some of Chen Xiao voiceline(aha! I knew it that his line volume is lower than the other);
- Optimized the battle sound effect for Changmingsuo and BOSS Blue Mask;
- Optimized Fu Yun’s costums- Silver Tiger Suit model and animation;
- Optimized Zui Shen Costume-Jade Feather Nightgown model;
- Other minor fixes...
